Basic requirements
First up, you need a strong positive work ethic and a clear interest in the magazine industry. Enthusiasm is a must!
At CLEO it is a company policy that you are covered by insurance. If you are a school student you will need to speak with your careers advisor, who can organise this for you. If you are a Uni or Tafe student you will need to organise this yourself - it costs around $150 for a week.
In order to purchase this insurance you can contact either of the following:
Gavin Dedman
AON Insurance Brokers
PH: (02) 9253 7000
Richard Russell
Richard Russell Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd
PH: (02) 4751 5793
Where and wear?
The CLEO offices are based in inner-city Sydney and you will be responsible for getting yourself to the right place at the right time each day. Work experience candidates are expected to attend the CLEO offices from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with one hour for lunch. Dress is smart casual and comfortable shoes (trust us, you’ll be thankful you didn’t wear the stilettos!).
