Oval Face Shape
Ovals are considered the ideal face shape. Think of an egg and you have the oval shape in mind. Your forehead and jaw are about the same width, while the crown and chin finish in subtle points.
This shape can wear any hairstyle with flair! Bobbed, layered, close, full, long or short, just about any style will suit this balanced shape.
However, you must take into consideration your facial features, trying to draw attention to your best. For example, an oval face with a large nose can be improved with height above the forehead. Close, flat styles will make a large nose appear fuller and wider then it is.
Your hair type will also determine the best style. If naturally curly, wavy or straight, make it part of your style. Your facial shape is only the starting point.
