Heart Face Shape
Got a heart? Your face is widest at the forehead, tapering to a small, pointy chin. Look for elongated area between there and the lips.
Heart-shaped faces need a softer, curlier style. A chin length look is perfect. The goal is to create width around your narrow chin. Best look: full curly/wavy bouncy.
You must also take into consideration your facial features. The rule of thumb is accentuate the positive. Hair brushed off the forehead and to either side can make it appear longer and draw attention to the eyes, while hair below the chin can make a short, round chin appear wider.
The hair type can also determine the best look for the heart- faced shape. Soft, full shapes work best for small features. Close, straight, flat styles can make a heart face shape appear small, wider and round. Whenever possible, incorporate the hair's natural characteristic (wave, curl, straightness) into your hairstyle.
