QUESTION OF THE WEEK
 | "How long should I keep and use cosmetics?"
| | Foundation will stay fresh for one year after opening and three years if unopened. Powders, powder eye shadows and pencils generally stay fresh for 18 months. You should replace mascara and liquid eyeliners every three months. Lipstick will keep for three years. Discard cosmetics if you notice a change in colour, odour or appearance. All cosmetics now have their shelf-life written on the packet. Look for a picture of a lid with a number inside. 6M means six months, 12M means twelve months and so on. |
