Beauty Q & Acosmetics
I am very pale and blonde. What kind of makeup should I wear to make me stand out?

The key thing to remember for girls with fair complexions is that heavy makeup can make you look really overdone (we're thinking, Courtney Act, aka a transvestite - not the look you're after!!).
You have delicate, feminine colouring, so need delicate, feminine-looking makeup.
For your skin, choose a foundation that matches your skin colour — you can ask for help from the cosmetics counters in DJ's or Myers. Don't make the mistake of using a darker foundation as a means of adding colour. It will have to finish somewhere, and even if you blend it from your face to your neck, you'll still finish up with a brown face and white body!
Rather, to add colour to your complexion, use a bronzing powder over your nose and cheeks to give you a sun-kissed look. Or try a shimmery, luminescent powder. Add a dab of peach or pale pink rouge to each cheek and blend.
Once you've added some warmth to a pale complexion, blondes look fab with pastel colours in both lip colour and eye shadow. Think shades of pale pink, rose, light blues, emerald greens and turquoise. You could use a soft pink gloss on your lips for instance, and a pale pink shadow, blending into blue, on your eyes. The trick is to use plenty of mascara. Make lashes thick and lustrous top and bottom. If you have really pale eyebrows, you might want to think about getting them tinted light brown.
Red lips also look fab on blondes, just don't overdo it — stick with a strong-tinted gloss in red or deep pink.
