When it comes to slimming a rounder face, remember that darker shades make things appear smaller or thinner. Rather than using paler foundations which will emphasis a rounder face, opt for bronzers brushed lightly over the whole face and neck. Create dimension by applying a dab of a lighter blush to the apples of your cheeks. Suck your cheeks between your teeth and apply a sheer sweep of darker blush in the hollows under your cheekbones.
Keep the focus of your makeup on the eyes or lips, which will make these features the focal point.
You can also slim down the face by wearing longer layers in your hair and wearing your hair straight around your face, with a part rather than a fringe, and by pulling hair up.
