 | I'm guessing that you get to see all the new beauty products - I'm just curious to know what your favourite beauty buys are right now? |
 | You're right - I do see most new products. They land on my desk usually a couple of months before they hit the stores, which gives me time to play and test before writing about them in the magazine. I'm such a beauty junkie that while I have a few classic buys, I'm always falling in love with new products. As for my current faves, they're a mix of new and old:
# Prescriptives Custom-Blend Foundation: it's mixed up to match your skin exactly and you can get different finishes, either matt or luminous. I used to wear only tinted moisturiser but as I age (boo hoo) I need more coverage, this one is a natural-look medium coverage. Totally worth the splurge.
# Chanel Age Delay Eye: the best eye cream out there. I promise. It keeps lines and bags under control.
# The Body Shop Body Butter and Scrub in Coconut: you smell like a tropical island and you get glossy sexy skin.
# Laura Mercier L'Heure Magique: still my favourite perfume (I've spritzed my way through six bottles in the last two years), it makes you smell so sweet.
# Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion: super-gentle, super-effective and super-cheap.
# Lancome Juicy Tubes lipgloss: if there was a club for addiction to these glosses, I would be first to sign up! My favourite is Fraise - a lush strawberry jam.
# Revlon Skinlights Illumination Lotion in Natural Light: the perfect cure for hungover or oh-no-I'm-ageing skin.
# Stila Eyeshadow in Kitten: I have worn this pretty champagne-coloured shimmer on my lids devotedly for over five years!
# Napoleon Auto-Pilot Primer: this really does help my foundation sit better and for longer.
# Natio Spa Aqua Quench Face Mask: keeps my dry-prone cheeks in check. |
