 | I wear glasses and have trouble selecting the right look. What are some tips that can avoid having the no eye make-up look? |
 | We consulted Bobbi Brown Beauty: The Ultimate Beauty Resource by leading make-up artist Bobbi Brown and Annemarie Iverson to find you the right advice. Some things to consider:
*Brows are very important when you wear glasses. Define them by filling them in with a brown-toned eyeshadow so that your own eyebrows, rather than the glasses, are framing your eyes and defining your face.
*If you feel as though you disappear behind your frames, experiment with more assertive styles. “A heavy tortoise or black style looks surprisingly good, even with fine features,” says Bobbi.
*Are your glasses frames coloured? If they’re a bold red, green or blue, that’s enough colour around your eyes. Instead, focus on great lipstick.
*Do your prescription lenses make your eyes look smaller? Think about lining your eyes to try to make them stand out. “It’s probably a good idea to curl your lashes,” says Bobbi.
*If your prescription maximises your eyes, make sure your mascara doesn’t clump.
*Foundation can fall victim to glasses, as they tend to rub it away. Remember to do touch-up blending throughout the day.
